About My Game of Thrones Custom Figures

I started making Game of Thrones TV show customs in August 2012. Read below for what parts I used to get likenesses for all the figures and bust. Or click the icons and menus to the left to see the actual customs.

 

Figures Info and Photo Slideshow (Below)

For the 7" figures, I used Dark Horse heads for customs of Dany, Jon, Arya, Sansa, Hodor, Tyrion, Jaime, Brienne, Cersei, Tywin, Stannis, and the Hound. For figures with no official sculpt, I used heads as detailed below.

Dark Horse Heads for 7" Figures

• Khal Drogo for the Mountain, which I altered to look like Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson
• Cersei for Melisandre, which I altered to look like Carice van Houten
• Jaime for Daario, which I altered to look like Michiel Huisman
• Margaery for Lyanna Mormont, which I altered to look like Bella Ramsey
• Ygritte for Septa Unella, which I altered to look like Hannah Waddingham
• Stannis for Jaqen H'ghar, which I altered to look like Tom Wlaschiha
• Brienne for the Waif, which I altered to look like Faye Marsay

Other Heads for 7" Figures

• DST's Battlestar Galactica Dualla head for Unburnt Daenerys, which I altered to look like Emilia Clarke (as I wasn't satisfied with the likeness of the official sculpt)
• Art Asylum's Deep Space Nine Dr Bashir/Alexander Siddig head for Prince Doran (same actor)
• Mezco's Heroes Linderman for Barristan, which I altered to look more like Ian McElhinney
• NECA Toy's Sydney Bristow for Missandei, which I altered to look more like Nathalie Emmanuel

I also altered the official 1:4 scale Daenerys bust from Dark Horse to improve the likeness.

 

For the 7" large busts, I used 1:6 scale heads from 12" dolls, as detailed below.

• The BtVS Hush Buffy head for Olenna Tyrell, which I altered to look like Diana Rigg
• The BtVS Hush Gentleman head for:

  • Pyat Pree, which I altered to look like Ian Hanmore in the character make-up

• The Sucker Punch Baby Doll head for Sansa Stark, which I altered to look like Sophie Turner

  • Samwell Tarley, which I altered to look like John Bradley-West

• The Vladimir Putin head for Roose Bolton, which I altered to look like Michael McElhatton

  • Stannis Baratheon, which I altered to look like Stephen Dillane
  • Petyr Baelish, which I altered to look like Aidan Gillen
